Frequently asked questions
What is the K53 observation method?
A defensive-driving system of checking mirrors and blind spots, signalling in good time, and only then manoeuvring — applied to every turn, lane change and stop.
When may I cross a barrier (solid) line?
You may not overtake across or cross a solid barrier line. Only overtake where the line is broken and it is safe and legal to do so.
Who has right of way at an uncontrolled intersection?
Yield to traffic approaching from your right, and to any pedestrians already crossing. When in doubt, give way.
